Suido Kiko Kaisha, Ltd. – Making a Splash With Waterworks Excellence

There are few industries as important to society as the provision of safe drinking water. That’s why Suido Kiko Kaisha, Ltd. aims to pour every drop of its 100 years of experience into providing the most reliable and highest-quality services to customers.

The Japanese firm’s products include systems and equipment used in water purification and wastewater treatment, and its various teams develop services for both the private sector and municipal facilities. Toru Furukawa, president and CEO, said that in such a critical field, it’s vital to keep up with new developments and build for the future. “We are looking ahead to the next 100 years and envisioning further growth based on the technology we have cultivated throughout our history,” said Furukawa. “Our track record includes introducing many ‘Japan first’ products to the market and the world, and this is reflected in the fact that we have the largest number of innovations used in the waterworks industry, he added.

With a proven ability to meet a wide range of customer demands in terms of safety, reliability and quality, Suido Kiko Kaisha is considering a greater emphasis on support and maintenance for water systems, expanding the reach of its pioneering products. According to Furukawa, the company is also open to working more closely with other stakeholders, including the public sector, to play a greater role in mitigating the expected shrinking population crisis and focusing on preparing turnkey orders ready for use. “In the water treatment industry, changes in the environment and circumstances are constant, and there are always challenges that must be overcome. However, this is also an opportunity for us to make great strides in our technological capabilities,” said Furukawa.

With successful operations across Japan, the company is now looking to further expand its international operations through a subsidiary in Vietnam and an affiliate in Saudi Arabia. “As our corporate value increases, our water treatment technologies will continue to become increasingly important not only in Japan but also around the world,” said Furukawa.
