The team is currently developing optical resin monomers that can be used in imaging lenses <\/span>\u200b<\/span>and<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span> virtual and augmented reality systems<\/span>\u200b<\/span>.<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>\u200b<\/span> I<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>n terms of sustainability, the firm is also working on biodegradable solutions to tackle plastic pollution in <\/span>\u200b<\/span>the <\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span>oceans. <\/span>“<\/span>A lot of people are talking about the harm posed by marine microplastic pollution<\/span>\u200b<\/span>,<\/span>\u200b<\/span><\/span> and <\/span>there is a new trend to make plasticizers biodegradable,” said Sasaki.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>With such a global outlook, overseas sales and partnerships are vital.
