For Yasuko \u201cJody\u201d Toda, the president of Rika Denshi Group, that is not a responsibility to be taken lightly.<\/p>\n
Honored as one of Japan\u2019s businesswomen of the year when she was appointed to the role at the age of 27, Toda is part of a new generation of young and dynamic corporate leaders shaping the industry.<\/p>\n
She has vowed to prioritize product quality as the business moves into the future.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not about cheap mass production. It\u2019s more about the high-end technology, which even now gets a lot of buffering from a cost standpoint,\u201d said Toda.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople would pay more to achieve their goals in technology at this point. We can do a lot to contribute to these new technologies,.\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The company specializes in semiconductor testing and probing systems and is working to develop its miniaturized chipmicro-sized and high- frequency testing technology.<\/p>\n
The firm\u2019s president insists her staff is the driving heart of the business and she is keen to expand the firm\u2019s business and product range. The firm recently marked its 62nd birthday, but innovation is the key going forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really want to give recognition to our employees that have been working very hard. I believe I am a people-focused leader,\u201d said Toda.<\/p>\n
